TamiltoLyrics is a home for Tamil song lyrics (பாடல் வரிகள்). We started with Tamil Christian songs — worship songs, Christmas carols, Roman Catholic hymns and old keerthanai — and are growing the archive to include devotional and Tamil film songs.

What you'll find here

Lyrics are shown in Tamil script and in English letters (Tanglish), so you can sing along whether or not you read தமிழ். Right now the site holds 20,907 Christian songs from 5,124 artists and 20,998 Tamil film songs. You can browse by letter (A–Z or தமிழ்), by artist, by collection, or search for a song, artist or collection by name.

Why we built it

Many lyrics sites for Tamil songs are hard to use on a phone and slow to load. We wanted a fast, clean place to read lyrics — in either script, at a size that suits you — whether you are in Chennai, Colombo, Singapore, London or Toronto.

Accuracy and corrections

Lyrics are transcribed by people, and mistakes happen — in spelling, line breaks or the English-letter version. If you spot an error, tell us the page address and what should change, and we will fix it.
